Top Secret Wedding
Well what a whirlwind weekend. Two amazing weddings and sore pounding feet to prove it. One of the weddings was Top Secret until now and has to be one of the highlights in my photographic career. I had the amazing invitation to shoot bridal gown designer extraordinaire INES DiSANTO daughters Wedding. If that wasn't enough pressure then add the uber talented photographer MIKE COLON and his assistant Rosanna from Newport Beach CA, and RAY SANTANA from Miami, Florida. You can only imagine how much NIKON gear was flying around between the four of us. Our wonderful couple Veronica and Jacob braved the pouring rain and proceeded with an outdoor ceremony at COPPER CREEK GOLF COURSE. The weather did clear up to get some amazing magic hour shots in a grassy field overlooking the beautiful greens. The Bride also debuted THREE custom DiSanto Wedding gowns that were just stunning. Sorry can't show pictures just yet due to exclusive rights of publication, but stay tuned. Also shooting around the wedding was Jeff Wright of BLUE SKIES CINEMA video. For that surprise stay tuned to MIKE COLON's BLOG. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Colon for inviting me to shoot this wonderful occasion it truly was an honour and an experience I will not soon forget! It was truely a pleasure meeting and working with all of you. God Bless.

A Date With Stanley
How exited do you think this red blooded Canadian was when his kids said The Hockey Hall of Fame would be dropping by their school with the most coveted cup in the WORLD! We Canadians are crazy for Hockey and now the playoffs are under way and it's so cool to actually see the Stanley Cup that will be hoisted over the 2007 National Hockey League Champions! The Stanley Cup is truly a work of art. Did you know that every players named is engraved onto the cup from every Championship team since the early 1900's! Unfortunately our poor Toronto Maple Leafs last hoisted the cup in 1967.This was a very sad time. Only twice in the history of the NHL was their ever a canceled season. 2004/05 was a players and owners dispute which forced a "Lock-Out" and back in the early 1900 a flu epidemic in forced a cancellation. The end of a hockey's dynasty Teams. We will probably never ever see this type of run again. The young and awesome Wayne Gretzkey's first of 4 Stanley Cups he was also a 10 time scoring leader in the NHL. The way salaries are today and trading of players we will never see teams win this many successive cups anymore. Too much business and corporate influence in this great sport. Did you notice something odd about the engraving on the top right side? Well the Stanley Cup is not perfect . Some names have been misspelled and other non team members tried to sneak their names onto the cup. Thanks to my girls and Lord Stanley for an awesome date. I hope you enjoyed a little trivia about the Greatest Game on EARTH......well at least I think so :)Posted by Moving Images Photography at 9:42 AM 1 comments

Strollometer
I get to see quite a few strollers come into the studio and when I'm on location shooting Family portraits. Let me tell you they are getting really Hi Tech! Here is the newest gadget I've seen for all you active moms. It's called a Strollometer it's a computer speedometer that fits onto a stroller. It also tells time, temperature average speed, trip time and distance and mileage! What a great aid to to stroll back into shape in style.Posted by Moving Images Photography at 9:30 AM 0 comments

Maternity Studio Shoot
Braving the cold weather and delivery of the baby, Vicky, Jeff and son Kyle came into the studio for some moody "belly" shots. When everyone saw how much fun mum was having they wanted in for a impromptu family portrait..... actually she was very nervous because she is VERY pregnant. But I think she looks beautiful. So I made them a little collage of the session that's going up in their bedroom. Remember our "March Madness" studio fee sale contact us to book your session!Posted by Moving Images Photography at 8:23 PM 0 comments

Kodak Moments
You won't need any Kleenex after this Kodak spot. You might remember the "Live Forever" campaign. It featured kids at the Kodak Museum experiencing pictures "talking". Well if that was to syrupy for you this will definetly be a kick in the pants ... for sure!

For the Love of Cuba
For some the love of Cuba is it's cigars and beautiful beaches. For me it's all about the rhythm. I used to perform and tour alot more with bands as a bassist so I dig the pocket. Speaking of which, check out the grooves from Cuban percussionist Yoel Del Sol who performs solo on congas. Tell me that's not love.

Happy Birthday Alexandra
Well it's Alexandra's first birthday! Wow, so much to look forward to. If us adults start to clean up some of the mess we've made of this earth. If "An Inconvenient Truth" is not a sobering enough statement about Global Warming than you are more naive than you think. Alexandra has a reason to be, but we don't: Have a look at The New Global Warming Report.Posted by Moving Images Photography at 4:47 PM 0 comments
Toronto Stand Off !
So this was the seen outside my kitchen window this morning. My neighbours dog who is usually barking at his own tail, sounded a little different today? So I looked out the window to see what was going on. When all of a sudden Clint Eastwood's "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" stand off soundtrack kicked in. It was wasn't a hot Mexican desert, but a brittley crisp cold Canadian morning. When these two foes stared each other down! Sassy trying to protect his territory and sounding off that he is BOSS....When the ever so cool quite and composed coon arched its back and WACK! Let him have it right in the nose, I love a great ending. Especially when the big mouth gets it in the end!Posted by Moving Images Photography at 12:32 PM 0 comments

New Years Resolutions
How many of us made a New Years Resolution? People argue that making them is pointless because we break them all the time. I disagree. The fact that we are thinking of change be it physical, mental or financial is a step in the right direction. "Everything that is watched improves", according to Bob Parsons CEO and fonder of GoDaddy.com . Check out his blog for some great business advice that can be applied to personal well being.Posted by Moving Images Photography at 6:10 PM 0 comments

Last Wedding of 2006
It's finally here the last couple of the year Paula & Micheal, December 29, 2006. We all were so worried about how cold it would be and how much snow would be on the ground. Well no snow anywhere and the mildest winter tempurature ever on record in the city of Toronto.Posted by Moving Images Photography at 10:35 AM 0 comments
